Description
The QT-2 dual-axis Tiltmeters
Paroscientific's seismic sensor product line offers the unique advantages of the resonant quartz crystal
technology for seismic and geodetic measurements. The sensors are inherently digital, are ultra compact,
consume low power, have a large range, extremely low self noise, and market leading stability.
The remarkable performance of these sensors is achieved through the use of a precision quartz crystal resonator whose frequency of oscillation varies with acceleration induced stress. The tiltmeters are thermally compensated to achieve high accuracy over a broad range of temperatures.
The QT-2 dual-axis Tiltmeters have a range of +/- 0.2 radian
(~11.5° or 0.2 g's) and a resolution exceeding 0.2
nanoradian with very low self noise.
Their low intrinsic temperature sensitivity coupled with high
stability makes them the perfect tool for making sensitive measurements
of long-term tilt in applications monitoring
boreholes, seafloor, volcanoes, and more.
All units come with a limited five-year warranty with first two years covered at 100%.
