In addition to the calibration certificate, it is possible to request from the laboratory a declaration of conformity of the calibration results to a standard or a specification according to various criteria and decision rules. The reference standards are UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 and ILAC G8:09/2019, as well as standards or technical documents referenced by them.
The decision rule chosen by the client must always be communicated to the laboratory with the contractual documents. The laboratory shall express the conformities accompanied by the level of risk associated with the chosen decision rule.
