The base requires a gas supply slightly higher than the test pressure and is equipped with precision inlet\/outlet valves and an adjustment screw to facilitate pressure regulation.<\/p>\n<p>The BGP120 is an oil-lubricated gas piston-cylinder unit. The design uses a 1\/16 in\u00b2 hardened and stabilised tool steel piston\/cylinder. If required, an inert fluid (such as Fomblin) can be used instead of oil to ensure lubrication without contaminating the gas with hydrocarbon vapours.
